Editing update

So far we have put all of our recorded material and the song we are using onto an assembled timeline and we have established the order that we want our shots to be in. We have also ensured that our lip syncing shots are as in time with the music as they could possibly be. We have some shots to slot into the timeline that we recorded in the green screen room which we will be adding a background to in order to show someone eating alone in a busy restaurant.

We have sped up certain shots in the video to reflect the faster parts of the song, for example when it builds up to the chorus. We feel this gives more of an energetic and vibrant effect, which relates to our youthful audience. We have also used slow motion on one of the green screen shots of Beth dancing, for an instrumental part of the song, to contrast with the fast pace of the faster parts of the song and video. We are going to add shadows of herself to the shot for a dark effect.
We added some transitions to our music video, for example 'cross dissolve' to break up the shots and help the video flow and run smoothly, rather than jumping from one shot to another.
